TATA CHRISTIANE – MANIC JOY
Much like everything in her bedroom/atelier in Friedrichshain, Tata’s designs are as colourful and interesting to touch. She spends most days frantically sewing, chain-smoking, cutting patterns and also making music as one half of ANIAETLEPROGRAMMEUR. It’s hyper, rock-influenced electro, which is fun because admittedly, there’s not too much of that in Berlin. We took a small cafe au lait ciggie break and she told us her plans for this year, along with a few loftier dreams.
The feasible:
I’m designing my first collection for April and I want to make my new workplace in Berlin bigger and better!!! Also, side by side with Hanri Gabriel, we’re working on our new album. I want to play as much as possible over the next few months, and have fun while doing it!
And the idealistic:
I want to become a warrior of the mind and spirit!! I would like to make my dreams come true but in the most free and authentic way possible!! I want to believe that anything is possible, even crazy shit. I want to feel something beautiful, shared, and full of love and I want my creations and actions to be a result of this.
